Father William Stuart is a man with a vision. He’s an educator with a heart of gold and a passion for helping those in need. His journey started on the streets of Tyre, Lebanon, where he encountered poverty and deprivation on a scale he never could have imagined. It was there that he saw the devastating impact of war and conflict on the lives of Syrian refugee children, and he knew he had to do something to help.

Born and raised in Ireland, Father William had always been dedicated to education and helping others. He had a deep understanding of the power of education to transform lives and lift people out of poverty, and he was determined to use his skills to make a difference in the lives of the children he encountered in Tyre.

And so, in 2013, Father William founded the Children in Schools for Syria Project, a school for Syrian refugee children in Tyre. The school provides education, food, and hope to children who have lost everything, and it’s become a beacon of hope in the community.

Father William’s vision for the school was simple: to provide children with a safe and supportive environment where they could learn, grow, and thrive. He knew that education was the key to unlocking the full potential of these children and helping them build a better future for themselves.

And his vision has become a reality. Today, the Children in Schools for Syria Project is thriving, providing education and hope to hundreds of Syrian refugee children in Tyre. The school is a symbol of resilience and hope, and it’s a testament to Father William’s unwavering commitment to education and his belief in the power of the human spirit.

Father William is a visionary educator, and he’s changing the lives of children in Tyre every day. His dedication, passion, and commitment to education are an inspiration to us all, and his work is proof that one person can make a difference.
